Putting all the effort into starting a business is commendable, but you need people to be aware of who you are and what you stand for. There are many mediums for displaying your brand and corporate identity that can establish what you stand for, reveal a logo or convey a company-wide belief.

Developing and establishing a brand takes time and effort and the best way to accomplish this would be to consult with professionals in the areas of:

  • Engraving
  • Digital design
  • Commissioned work

Engraved works are very specialized, unique, and exuberant while a digital design has a range of applications and commissioned works, while expensive are great promotional tools.

Classic’s Don’t Die

The time-old tradition of engraving is a respectable and admirable profession that combines precision and logic with absolute creativity. Many materials can be engraved upon such expensive stones as marble with a chisel as is the masonic tradition, the middle eastern method of pressing dies onto precious metals such as copper (https://universalengraving.com/copper-plate-intaglio-dies/) or ultra-modern techniques such as laser imprints through glass.

An engraved sign outside your office building, proudly displayed for all to see conveys a respectable attitude towards the self-respect of your business especially if you are situated on an affluent street such as London’s Oxford Street or inside a prestigious office building on Manhattan’s Wall Street.

You could, perhaps even indulge yourself in a treat and commission a personal name engraving for your office desk or a plaque for your door.

Purposefully Pixelated

Having your brand immortalized in digital form has many benefits that apply to a modern business. A digitized logo for example can be resized at will to suit anything from company letterheads to full-page advertisements and can be recolored and adjusted for promotional or copyright purposes.

With a lot of today’s modern branding choices, a well-designed digital logo can also be applied across items such as company USB devices, pens, and uniforms. Using logos to great effect can also help establish your brand’s recognition but great care must be taken when developing a logo as it will usually be around for a whole.

It is rare that a company changes its logo but not undead of. Car manufacturer Toyota famously changed their logo in 1989 to better encapsulate their brand which is the company’s initial “T” made to look like a steering wheel.

Famous by Association

Having a famous artist come up with a commission work that is to be identified with your company can become the stuff of legend. Just think of Coca-Cola’s relationship with Norman Rockwell and the image of Santa Claus we now have that didn’t exist before. Pepsi also recently commissioned works from upcoming artists to be used on their new LIFEWTR bottles.

Of course, this helps out the artists to gain recognition as well since they might be struggling, and as their fame grows so too does the value of the artwork, which since you commissioned and paid for it, you now own. Public displays of commissioned artwork have been the most successful and with the platforms like Twitter getting the word out has never been easier.

The Importance Of A Good Logo For Your Business

Branding is important when it comes to your business, and having the right logo is also key. Companies will often change and update their logo every so often, whether they tweak the current one or change it completely. Changing it and starting from scratch can be more difficult when you’ve got an established business, so it’s important to factor that in when making drastic changes. Here is the importance of a good logo for your business.

It Helps Customers Recognize Your Business

Every company will want to aspire to a level in which they’re company becomes so popular that for some, it can be a household brand. What that means is that it’s something that’s instantly recognizable just from the logo itself, even if the name of the brand isn’t in the logo. It’s a big dream that’s not achieved by every business, but it’s certainly worth giving it a go. The better your logo is, the more your customers will look at it and become familiar with it. Think of the images used, the shapes and colors. You want it to grab the attention in a way that will become recognizable if only having seen it once before.

Makes Your First Impression Count

First impressions count, whether that’s a customer seeing it or another business. Your logo design needs to make the right impact and wow those who see it. If that’s something that’s not happening right now, then it’s a sign that it needs changing. So think about how people perceive your current logo and watch people’s expressions when they see your logo for the first time. Do they take time to look at it, or do they have an immediate reaction? It’s also worth asking for feedback off those you know and possibly within the industry you’re in.

It’s Part Of Your Brand Identity

Brand identity is essential to each and every business because, without it, there’s no purpose to who you are or what you’re about. Everything about your branding needs to be clear about what it is and what you’re aiming to achieve from it. It’s good to adapt this and always look to approve it so that it reflects your company’s wants and needs fully as the business grows.

You Need It For Your Social Media And Marketing

Your logo is important to have available because you need it to feature on your social  media handles and any other marketing that you produce. Brand consistency is important, and that’s one thing that you need to ensure is always being done throughout the business. The more you do this, the sooner it will be recognizable to your customers and to those that aren’t yet your customers. Social media is a great way to help take your brand globally.

A good logo is going to place you ahead of the competition, so invest into your logo and make sure you have one that is going to benefit and further the success of your business.
