More companies are using SMS for business. This involves communicating with customers via text. Much like an email mailing list, you can get people to sign up to your SMS mailing list and promote regular deals. Studies show that such messages are more likely to be read than emails.

You should use a bulk text message service to send these texts. Make sure not to send texts too frequently and always ask for consent before adding people to your mailing list (an opt-out feature should also be included in all texts).

Social media platforms like Facebook allow you to use location-based advertising. This allows you to send targeted digital adverts to people’s devices in a certain area. Many people use social media on their phones and you may be able to connect with people locally this way.

It’s also important that your website is mobile-friendly. While most websites are mobile compatible, the text may be too small or the formatting may not look right when viewed on a mobile screen.
